He had a land grant in North Carolina from Thomas Jefferson which was lost by fire. His first wife was Catherine Casper (Cooper), and on February 11 1830, he married Anna Smith in Hamilton County, Ohio. He "died November 22, 1841 aged 82 years, 10 months,&amp;nbsp; 20 days. Pvt. Heron's Co. 10th NC regt. Revolutionary War" Goverment stone and a "private" stone- west side of cemetery.&lt;/p&gt;</line></content></metadataxml>
