Suit: Robert and Ann Boggess, late Ann Cox, dau of Vincent Cox, dec&#39;d, vs. Matthew Rust, for Ann&#39;s share of her estate in hands of said Matthew Rust. [Matthew Rust married Winifred Cox, sister of Ann Cox.]<br><br>Daughter Jane Cox married Henry Boggess of Northumberland Co. before 29 Oct 1733.<br>Westmoreland Co., VA Deed Bk 8,p276-278. 29 Oct 1733. Henry Boggess, yeoman, and Jane his wife of Prince William Co., VA. Lease to Matthew Rust and Robert Boggess of Cople Parish, Westmoreland Co., VA, planters, 100 acres of land for 5000 pounds of tobacco, property in Cople Parish, Westmoreland Co., VA near the head of Yeocomoco River bounded upon the land of Thos. Bennett &amp; Robert Smith. The previous owner was Richard Holden. Witnesses: Junr. Sutton, George Leives. Signed Henry Boggess, Jane (X her mark) Boggess. Recorded 28 Jan 1734. (Smith &amp; Fox, p39) [Note: Matthew Rust married Winifred Cox half-sister of Jane, and Robert Boggess married Ann Cox, sister of Jane, all daus of Vincent Cox. Thomas Bennett m Jane Cox, the widow of said Vincent Cox.<br><br>Westmoreland Co. VA Order Book 1731-1739: 285. 31 Aug 1738. Jane Boggess, posthumus dau of Vincent Cox, decd., born 6 months after his death so that he made no provisions for her in his estate as his other children. (Smith and Fox: p40)<br><br>Westmoreland Co., VA Fiduciary Acct. Book 1:233. 16 Jul 1739. Division of Vincent Cox&#39;s Estate. Received of Mr. Thomas Bennett 781 pounds of tobacco, it being in full for my wife&#39;s part of her father Vincent Coxes Estate in his hands according to a late Settlement thereof from which I doe hereby discharge the Said Thos.
