OBJE:_DSCR	Update: I have the autobiography titled "My Other Life" written by Ora O Black. I have removed all references of Parsons from this person within my tree for now. I do have other documentation that suggests she was widowed and remarried at some point. I am beginning to believe her maiden name was Baer and then maybe married a Parsons after Black died. I do know my mother was named after this Eleanor Baer. Below is a direct quote from Ora's book. "The old mountain home had sheltered several generations of Blacks. Grandfather Black's family was not the least in size. He had married a Miss Eleanor Baer. Judging from her photograph, she was a serious young woman. I wish I had known my father's parents. Judging from the size of their family they were quite prolific. Seven sons and one daughter blessed their home. To name them: Marian, George, Jess, Robert, John, Jacob, and Thomas Mortimer, my father. Caroline was the only girl. Her brothers called her Sis. We children had never heard her called by any other name so we called her Aunt Sis." I am posting this as information that may benefit others researching this line. I do see that one other family tree on here refers to her as Eleanor Bare so I am trying to reach out to that person for information. Also keep in mind that the headstone photo people attach to her on here would likely contain the name she had at the time she died, and the name on the Headstone is Eleanor Parsons. If that is the same person, it is unlikely that is her maiden name.
