A man, Thomas Hudgins, was born in Liverpool in 1620 and moved from the town of Llandaff in Glamorganshire, Wales. Shipbuilder, trader, fisher family. His son, Robert Hudgins, born in Lancaster in 1660. In 1686, Robert was supposedly appointed Sheriff of Llandaff, a position held until his death. He married Charlotte Lewis, daughter of Henry Lewis of Trelech, Whales in 1701. They had four sons, Wiliam, John, Lewis, &amp; Robert betw. 1702 &amp; 1710. They also maintained homes in both Liverpool and in LLandaff. If anyone can be of assistance regarding the geography, area history or the individuals mentioned, please respond.
