OBJE:_DSCR	The obituary from a newspaper in Mason County Washington. *Note: He was a handyman who also worked as a brush picker. The description of 'brush picker' denotes a certain amount of contempt by whomever submitted the information. He was the classic 'jack of all trades, master of none', and was known to work nearly any small side job to get by. His unfortunate history included a long battle with drug and alcohol addiction. No one is certain if he truly won that battle...but in later years he seemed to have gained some control. Though he was my father, we rarely had contact due to his addictions. Later in his life it was likely that he was simply used to not having contact. I spent a couple of pleasant days with him just prior to his death of cancer (esophogus, hear, and lungs) and managed to learn a couple of small tidbits about the family including my Great Grandfather. Not that this has (as yet) helped me nail him down...but I expect it will help me verify him eventually.
