<metadataxml><content><line>&lt;p align="left"&gt;----------------&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;George Dent, Charles Co.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;29 Apr 1754; 15 Jun 1754&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;To wife Ann Dent, 1/2 of lands and plantation whereon I now live, beginning at [description not copied here]; negroes, 1/2 of personal estate.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;To son George Dent, other half part of lands, negroes; 1/2 of the cattle, hogs, horses and sheep.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;To son John Dent, lands at Mattawoman called &amp;quot;Clarks Inheritance&amp;#39; and &amp;quot;Clarks Purchase,&amp;quot; 500a. each tract, which lands were lately made over to him by deed of gift from myself and wife.&amp;nbsp; Another tract &amp;quot;Dents Levels&amp;quot; and negroes.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;To dau Elizabeth, now the wife of Mr. Richard Harrison, negroes and land.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;To my four daughters, Ann Ireland, Sarah, Rebecca and Letty Dent, lands at Mattawoman upper quarter.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;To dau Sarah Dent, negroes.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;To dau Rebecca Dent, negroes.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;To daus Mary Alexander, Eleanor Blakiston, Margaret Greenfield (having already provided for by me on their marriages), each a gold ring of 30 shillings value with this inscription (in memory of George Dent).&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;Sons George and John Dent, excs.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p align="left"&gt;Wit: Ignatious Doyne, Jos.
